First things first: I am so sorry I have not been able to update this page regularly in such a long time. When I first started, I thought I would have ample time to devote to this site. Obviously, that did not happen.
Fortunately, it is looking like the next few months are shaping up in such a way where I will have more time to contribute regularly. After all, in an industry as rapidly-changing as mobile and wireless applications, it is important to stay ahead of the game.
One general trend in the mobile and wireless application landscape has been the rise of mobile applications for many different functions. Rather than being entirely practical or purely for entertainment purposes, users can now download applications for either purpose.
With two simple downloads, you can have an application that helps you plan and manage a budget, while also making room for your favorite sports-related game. From music apps and head-to-head games like Words With Friends, all the way to fitness applications and other practical services, mobile devices can equip you with resources for virtually every part of your life.
The benefit is even greater if your wireless devices are all devices all operate on the same platform (most Apple devices, for instance). That way, your applications will transfer across your devices.
So keep downloading both useful and fun applications – you might as well use the capability if you have it!

Mobile computing has advanced quite a bit in just the past few years. The two major events that brought about the change in how we view the mobile internet were the rise of the smartphone and the mainstream adoption of tablet computers. Now that we have the tools that were needed, businesses are shaping their processes around them.
